His dedication to mentorship was recognized at the 2026 TMP Impact Awards, co-hosted by TD. Behshad Sabah, an engineer with nearly three decades of experience in the energy and natural resources sectors, is dedicated to helping newcomers to Canada build meaningful careers. Dr. Deepak Sharma is a distinguished people and culture leader with over three decades of experience across the public sector, academia, healthcare, and military sectors. An expert in human resources, organizational development, and fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion, he has advised senior leadership and designed inclusive employment strategies that enhance employee engagement and organizational performance. In addition to mentoring, Dr. Sharma teaches HR and leadership courses to newcomers and students, helping them grow in their careers. At the TRIEC Mentoring Partnership (TMP) Impact Awards 2026, co-hosted by TD, he was recognized for successfully mentoring 10 mentees through the TMP Program and shared his insights on the importance of mentoring.
